As a major research and development effort, the Math and Science Partnership (MSP) program at the National Science Foundation (NSF) responds to a growing national concern, the educational performance of U.S. children in mathematics and science. The work of MSP-funded projects and the overall program have progressed steadily since inception in 2002, and some important learnings or findings are beginning to emerge in specific domains of the MSP. As these are synthesized and set into the larger base of extant literature, the program intends to develop a series of modules, to be disseminated through MSPnet as each module is completed and reviewed.
